The last weekend of summer will be full of attractions! Concerts, guided walks, fairs and much more await inhabitants of the city and tourists. The following artists will appear on the stage: Paweł Domagała, Tymek , Majka Jeżowska and Julia Pietrucha. There will also be sports emotions - Lech Poznań will face Pogoń Szczecin at Bułgarska St. You will be able to explore the history of the city during the 9th Fortress Days and walks around Śródka, Wilda and Śródmieście.

A night in the Palm House

People who want to move to the tropics for a while, and after sunset, can visit the Poznań Palm House. The night tour will start at 8 p.m. and will last until 2 a.m. On that day, the exhibition "Live stones, unusual succulents" will also be opened in Pavilion III, which will last until September 12.

Letnie Brzmienia in Stary Browar Park: Ania Dąbrowska

This Friday, Ania Dąbrowska, a Polish singer, composer, songwriter and music producer, will appear on the stage of Stary Browar. In 2004, she made her debut with the album "Samotność po zmierzchu". She is a laureate of nine Fryderyks. Her most popular hits include: "Nieprawda", "Z Tobą nie umiem wygrać" and "Porady na zdrady".

Lotny Festiwal Piwa (Flying Beer Festival)

The first Lotny Festiwal Piwa (Poznań Flying Beer Festival) will last from Friday to Sunday. The event will be attended by the creators of the best craft beers from all over Poland. There will be educational panels where experts will talk about the secrets of brewing and the European and Polish craft beer market. The event will also include competitions, tasting, a food court and live music.

Poznań CUP

This weekend, an open friendly tournament of the 1st women's volleyball league will take place. These are the first matches in the 2021/2022 season. The tournament will be played by representatives of Poznań - Enea Energetyk Poznań, while their opponents will be: KS Częstochowa and LOS Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki.

WINE - Polish Wine and Vineyards Fair 2021

It is a new event organized by MTP. The best Polish producers of wines and ciders, as well as suppliers of wine technology and equipment, will present their products and solutions at the fair. It is a great opportunity to taste Polish liquors. The event will last the entire weekend.

The End Of Summer Holidays At Old Town

The last weekend of holidays is about to start. To make it pleasant, many attractions will appear in the Old Market Square in Poznań. For the youngest visitors, there will be, among others: balloon madness, face painting and various animations. There will also be upcycling workshops, a show of a fire engine , motorbikes and military cars. The event will last the entire weekend (Friday to Sunday).

Stand-up: Magda Kubicka

Magda Kubicka is a Polish stand-up artist. On stage, she will present her latest program “Każdy ma swoje Wejherowo” ("Everyone has her/his own Wejherowo"). During  her performances she is not afraid of controversy and speaks loudly about what irritates us all. Her performances will also take place on Saturday and Sunday.

Poznań Fortress Days 2021

The IX Poznań Fortress Days will be held this Saturday and Sunday. It is an opportunity to visit forts, bunkers, undergrounds and discover secrets related to the history of Poznań. During the event, you will also be able to visit the Wielkopolska Military Museum, the Museum of Armored Weapons, the Museum of Armaments and the Museum of Army "Poznań". The Days of the Fortress is not only an attraction for history lovers. Everyone will find something for themselves - regardless of age.

SPORT CAMP 2021

SPORT CAMP is two days full of motivational talks, thematic lectures and trainings with professional trainers. It is an event intended for people who exercise regularly, but also for those who need motivation to start their sports adventure. We will be able to meet well-known experts, incl. Paweł Głuchowski and Brad Schoenfeld. The aim of SPORT CAMP is to show how much activity is important in human life.

The Poznań Heritage Centre invites you for a guided walk around the city centre. The route starts at Plac Wolności and leads all the way to the Castle District. You will be able to see how time has influenced the city.

Another concert from the Summer in the Open air series. This time indie rock. Sonbird was to come to Poznań in July, but for logistical reasons the event was postponed to August 28. All previously purchased tickets remain valid.

Lech Poznań - Pogoń Szczecin

In the match of the 6th round of PKO Ekstraklasa Lech Poznań will play with Pogoń Szczecin. It will be a duel between the current leader (Lech) and the team occupying the second place in the Polish league. After the recent successes of the team from Poznań, a record frequency is expected this season at the stadium at ul. Bułgarksa.

Insurgent Games 

On the occasion of the Days of the Fortress, the Stara Prochownia (Old Gunpowder House) invites you to insurgent games. It will be an argumentative game about the preparations for the Greater Poland Uprising of 1918–1919 and a war game about the fights in Poznań. Both games will be played on Saturday and Sunday. You can take part in the action twice, responding on different sides.

Letnie Brzmienia in the park of Stary Browar

The last weekend of the Letnie Brzmienia will end exceptionally -  a double concert of singing actors awaits you. Julia Pietrucha will appear on the stage at 6 p.m, and Paweł Domagała at 8 p.m. Julia Pietrucha has such singles as: "On My Own " or " Nie potrzebujemy nic", while Domagała won the hearts with his song "Weź nie pytaj".

Visual Concert - Film and Epic Music Concert

During the concert, you will be able to hear the well-known motifs of film soundtracks, the energetic and epic sound of the " trailer music " genre. The nearly 80-member CoOperate Orchestra with the accompaniment of the UAM Academic Choir (prepared by Beata Bielska) under the baton of Adam Domurat will fill the space with unusual sounds. In a varied repertoire in symphonic sound, we will hear pieces of film music from such films as: Gladiator, Avatar, Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond, Dreamer, Transformers , Lord of the Rings and epic music pieces, incl. the world-famous Two Steps From Hell label.

Tides From Nebula

Another concert from the Summer in the Open air series. This time, Tides From Nebula will appear on stage . This is a post-rock band, its name refers to the nebula, gas cloud and interstellar dust. The musicians are the authors of such songs as: "Only With Presence" and "Ghost Horses".

Tymek

The Polish rapper, whose recordings have repeatedly achieved the status of Platinum and Diamond records, will perform at Nocny Targ Towarzyski. In 2021, he was the first artist descended from hip-hop culture in Poland to receive a double diamond for the single "Język Ciała". His greatest hits also include: “Poza kontrolą”, “Anioły i Demony” oraz “Rainman”.
